- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until the bread is golden and crispy. Alternatively, you can toast the bread in a toaster or on a grill.
- Once the bread is toasted, let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice of toasted bread. Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and garnish with additional fresh basil leaves if desired.
