- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, combine the trimmed green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the beans are evenly coated.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they're not overcrowded to ensure even roasting and crispiness.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the beans are tender and starting to brown around the edges. Halfway through cooking, give the pan a shake to rotate the beans for even browning.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. The residual heat will melt the cheese perfectly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Choose fresh beans for crispier results, don't overcrowd the baking sheet, add Parmesan after roasting to prevent burning, and adjust cooking time based on bean thickness.
